This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it's shared with, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who we are
airconditioningpta.co.za is owned and managed by Nolimit Marketing Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("Nolimit"). Nolimit runs the website and its marketing and receives enquiries, which it passes to an independent air conditioning contractor. The contractor contacts the customer, provides the quotation, performs the work, invoices the customer and collects payment. The agreement for the work is between the customer and the contractor; Nolimit is not a party to it.
For personal information collected through this website, Nolimit is the responsible party. Questions about privacy go to Nolimit's Information Officer at [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), suburb, the service you need and the description you type into the quote form. If you phone, we receive your number and what you tell us on the call.
- Your consent: a record that you ticked the consent box on the form.
- Website usage: Google Analytics uses cookies to record which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, the type of device and browser, approximate location, and whether someone tapped the phone number or sent the form. It doesn't tell us who you are.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request details to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, by passing your details to an independent air conditioning contractor who serves your area so they can contact you and quote. This is done with your consent, which you give on the form or by asking us to pass on your details when you call.
- To keep a record of enquiries received.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for direct marketing.
Who we share it with
- The contractor. Once the contractor has your details, they use them to contact you, quote and do the work, and are responsible for how they handle them from then on.
- Service providers (operators) that help run the website: Web3Forms (delivers form submissions by email), Google (email and analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting). Some of these providers store or process information outside South Africa. They do so under their own data protection terms, and the consent you give on the form includes this transfer.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How we protect it
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), enquiries are delivered to a password-protected mailbox, and access is limited to the people who need it to deal with your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for no longer than 12 months after your last contact with us, unless the law requires us to keep them longer, and then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask us whether we hold personal information about you and what it is, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] or call 087 250 2686 during business hours. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew it.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.
Cookies
Google Analytics cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings. The website, including the quote form, works without them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
